I have moved β house, school, city, country β on average every four years of my life.
You learn something, living that way. Surfaces vary enormously; underlying patterns far less. You become a translator β someone who carries meaning across the gaps between worlds.
I studied Business IT in Geneva, then moved to Moscow for a Master's in Big Data Systems β drawn to the question of how blockchain and AI might converge to support economic growth.
I joined Soramitsu, a Japanese blockchain company, started managing a wallet, and ended up leading the SORA department β building the ecosystem, coordinating teams and partners, representing the work at conferences across Paris, Dubai, India, and Japan.
Then I hit a wall.
It forced a reckoning β with how I had been thinking, and what I had stopped paying attention to. I had spent years building systems and lost my connection to the largest one: the natural world I'm part of, and the sky I've been drawn to all my life.
What came out of it is the conviction I now build around. Technology built without understanding the systems it operates within will not last.
My work has two sides most people would never put together.
On one side, I build: strategy and architecture for blockchain, AI, and regenerative systems. On the other, I study the patterns of timing and change that Chinese metaphysics has mapped for millennia.
For me they've never been separate. Understanding the patterns makes the building wiser. Building gives the understanding somewhere to go.
I don't approach any of this casually.
The technology side draws on John Fullerton's regenerative economics, Richard Werner's research on money and credit, and a longer tradition of systems thinking.
The metaphysics side I study under guidance β three years with a teacher in the tradition, to the point where he encouraged me to teach its first module myself. I also study Date Selection and BaZi through Joey Yap's academy, and the foundations of Qi Men Dun Jia β still a student, not yet a practitioner.
